Web Survey Tool: University of Chicago
The Challenge
A researcher at the Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business wanted a flexible survey tool to study how pairs of employees interact in the workplace. Many of the applications had strict legal and institutional requirements, including compliance with an IRB protocol and HIPPA.
Our Solution
One of the unique aspects of our web survey solution is the ability to alter the scope of later questions based on a respondent’s answer to earlier questions, a surveying technique not possible with a traditional paper survey. The research team can view results real time to gauge their participation rate, and see statistics on how long each respondent took to complete the survey. All data is transfered over an encrypted SSL connection and stored on a secured server.
Results
Our survey tool has been used for several research projects in a corporate, non-profit, and medical setting. It is secure and can easily be adapted to different survey questions, alternate branding, and varying legal restrictions.
