Steven started in web development by using his dual degrees in Math and History of Science to help paper and pencil academic institutions manipulate and visualize their data on the web, completing several projects for the Adler Planetarium and the University of Chicago. He now also works with social media entrepreneurs to develop social networking sites and Facebook apps using Ruby on Rails. Steven has lived in the Netherlands, the Yucatecan jungle, a raft on the Mississippi River, San Francisco, and Chicago.

Dan is a mixed media artist with a traditional art education, and experience in both physical and digital media. He's been designing for the web for as long as he's used a computer, but is just as comfortable drawing, painting, or woodworking. Recently he did a large installation in which he used 3D modeling software to design huge welded mathematical sculptures featuring Arduino microcontroller light displays.

Clara is a veteran Ruby on Rails developer who has built social networking sites and web applications such as Espressy and Fly Over the City. She has degrees in Computer Science and Linguistics, and has worked as a freelancer designing small business websites and doing backend coding in PHP and Ruby. She recently helped teach an introductory Ruby on Rails workshop in Cambridge, and in her free time, she plays drums in a rock band.
