Steven Lucy
Partner & Programmer
Steven began developing websites as a History of Science student at the University of Chicago, where he worked with U of C departments and the Adler Planetarium to develop online, searchable versions of the institutions’ existing databases — these projects soon expanded into Parallactic’s full data design and development service. Steven is also the founder of innovative Chicago grocery store Open Produce; his unique combination of experiences in technology, business, and academia give him a useful perspective for any data-oriented project.
Clara Raubertas
Partner & Programmer
Clara is a web programmer who delights in combining prepackaged solutions, open-source code, and custom development to efficiently meet clients’ needs. She holds two degrees from the University of Chicago, and founded the website Stemming.org, a blog and community by, for, and about women in science, technology, engineering, and math. She also plays the drums in Cambridge rock band The Moral Hazards.
Jason Doty
Programmer
Jason is an experienced programmer who has recently transitioned from heading multi-million dollar projects at large companies like JP Morgan to working on smaller projects with Parallactic and developing iPhone games with Grumpy Dodo. He owns a variety of bicycles which he lovingly maintains, and spent his last vacation bicycle camping in Iceland.
Erica Dreisbach
Graphics, Writing, & SEO
Erica is an artist and writer whose work experience includes bitmap video game art, iPhone game art and co-creation, and Flash animation. She’s blogged professionally about everything from science and entertainment news to sustainable businesses and iPhone development, and written a sitcom pilot about the tech industry. She owns more musical instruments than shoes, but reserves special affection for her electric ukulele.
Andrew Cone

Andrew is a mathematician, programmer, and business consultant who has helped several small companies in Chicago get off the ground with his combination of technical skills, common sense business acumen, and entrepreneurial hustle. He is a committed vegan and animal rights activist, and lives with his wife in a housing cooperative.
